ZaaIL in the Wild – Random Fractals Image Zoomer

It’s really cool when you get to see one of your projects being used by other developers. Taras Novak of Random Fractals has released his next version of Image Zoomer (v. 0.2), which is a really cool Flex 4 application that allows the user to move bitmap data around, zoom in on it, etc… simple, but effective.

    Nate, thanks for postings this.

That cool image zoom work is from an old Flex 3 Image Zoomer prototype Andrew Trice put together:

I just needed it to work with local image files for another prototype, now that we can upload files to Flex apps in FP10 without hitting the server.

Your lib and Andrew’s Image Zoomer fit the bill perfectly. I only added custom Image List and some styling. So, I figured I’d share in case other folks are looking for a simple base app setup of image canvas.

Save option is coming soon. Check out that Flex 4 Image Zoomer link in a day.
